Ghosts
Last summer, I spent my vacation
in the country. One night, it was my birthday. My cousins didn’t buy anything for me. Instead, they
decided to give me a big surprise.
They took me to an old house. People in the village said it was haunted.
As soon as we walked into the
front door of the house, I felt
shivered because the house looked
frightening. This lighted up our curiousness. Seconds later, I thought I heard someone crying and moving. After searching all the rooms, “It must be
wind,” my cousins said. Because of
feeling tired, we all fell asleep. I dreamt that I heard someone knocking loudly and I smelt something burning. But it was not a dream. The curtains of the bedroom were on fire! We
ran out of the house immediately.
Sixty people from the village
gathered outside. They watched the
house burn. A policeman thought he saw
a young man trapped in an upstairs room. Moreover, several people saw two figures wearing dark clothes
walking through the flames….
No bodies were found in the ruins
later after the fire was put off. No one
was surprised about that.
